Why start a blog for a cleaning business?

Why should we start a blog for a cleaning business? Shouldn't we just be focusing on cleaning and working with our clients? These are good questions and I am happy to answer them here in our very first blog post!


Why start a blog? Well we want to share information, tips, and tricks with our clients to be used when we, the cleaners, cannot be there. Unfortunately, we do not clean people's homes on a daily basis. Usually we are cleaning homes on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. So, there is usually some time in between professional cleans when things need to be tidy'd up! We are hoping to provide some info, tips, and tricks to help our clients get through to their next professional clean.


Why are we not focusing on the cleanings, but rather, writing a blog instead? This is actually not true. The way we see it is, we ARE helping our clients by providing some info they can use when our cleaners are not actually in the home cleaning. These tips and tricks will help our clients complete tasks on their own with some professional help without us actually being there. Sometimes life happens and a spill needs to be cleaned up immediately or something else came along that needs attention before our cleaners are coming back. The information we will be providing will hopefully help our clients keep their homes looking and smelling fantastic!
